  Enabling the MapSpeller™ 3.0 Extension
 

To enable the MapSpeller extension in ArcMap™,

  1. Click on the ArcMap Tools menu and then click on the Extensions menu choice.

     
  2. Check the box in front of the MapSpeller - Single Use License item. The dialog content may be slightly different from that illustrated here.
     
Important Note
 
If you read "MapSpeller - Get Keycode" in the ArcMap Extensions dialog, turn it on anyway. One of three things will happen:
  1. The system may find a new keycode file. It will then update itself.
  2. The system may inform you that someone has already requested a keycode for this PC but that this person hasn't yet completed the registration procedure.
  3. The extension may just stay off. In which case, you should register the MapSpeller extension.
