  Forcing Specific Suggestions

MapSpeller suggests replacement words when users right-click on a potentially misspelled word in the Potential Errors dialog.

To make sure that a replacement suggestion is offered by the MapSpeller™ spell-checker, users should manually add a new line their personal dictionaries using Notepad.

The line should be formatted as follow:

  1. The error should be placed on a new line,
  2. Be followed by a TAB character (press the Tab key),
  3. The action code: a lowercase letter "c"
  4. Directly followed the action code (no space), the spelling to be seen as a replacement suggestion for the error.
  5. After the last entry in the dictionary, it is important to hit ENTER to create a blank line below it.
Important Notes
  • Should users want to see correctly spelled language words in the Potential Errors dialog, users should edit their danger dictionaries instead of their personal dictionaries.
  • Dictionaries are case sensitive.
  • Words should be sorted alphabetically in the dictionary to optimize spell checking speed.
