Marketing Intern

Edgetech has an immediate opening for a marketing intern. This position is a great opportunity for a talented graphic designer to gain valuable experience with all stages of marketing campaigns.

Duties include:

• Graphic design: flyers, exhibit booth graphics and web material
• Developing Flash presentations
• Help with Edgetech emailing & mailing campaigns
• Administrative tasks including:
  • Data entry (contact database)
  • Generating MapSpeller keycodes
  • Providing ArcGIS & MapSpeller quotes
  • Helping with conference and training logistics

Skills:

• Creative
• Meticulous, detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and in a team is a must
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Graphic design and publishing experience with Adobe CreativeSuite (Flash, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Freehand, FrontPage and Visual Studio desirable
• GPA: 3.5 or better

Working Time: Flexible

Work Location: Innsbrook (Glen Allen, VA)

Salary range: $10 to 12/hour, no benefit

ArcObjects Developer

Skills Requirements:

• B.S. or higher degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS or a related field
• 3+ years developing ArcGIS applications
• ESRI ArcObjects (ArcGIS Desktop, Server), incl. ArcGIS extensions
• VB6
• .NET (C#.NET/ASP.NET/ADO.NET/VB.NET)
• ArcGIS Server (web services)
• RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), ArcSDE
• Ability to work independently and in a team is a must
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Commercial software development lifecycle and software localization experience desired

Working Time: Full time, flexible schedule.

Work Location: Innsbrook (Glen Allen, VA) with telecommuting possible on a part-time basis.

Salary range: $50,000 to $80,000, plus benefits
