After installing the MapSpeller software and
with the the MapSpeller
extension enabled within ArcMap, you will need to register it and
obtain a key code from Edgetech America, Inc. This keycode will unlock the
MapSpeller spell checking functionality.
- Select the Options menu from the MapSpeller toolbar.
- Read and accept the
licensing
agreement, then enter your contact information on the Licensing page
and click on either the "Evaluate..." or "Buy License... " button.
- An email with your contact information and your computer CPU ID and
name is automatically prepared. Just send the email as is. If you are
using a web browser based email application instead of a desktop one
(such as Microsoft Outlook), please copy the email information into your
browser application and send it from there to the same address (info@edgetech-us.com).
- Within a couple of days you will receive an email back from Edgetech
America, Inc. with instructions on how to save your keycode to disk.
- The next time you turn the MapSpeller extension on, it will
automatically update its keycode.
- If the keycode is correct, the next time you access the MapSpeller
toolbar when the layout view is active, it will give you the run the
spell checker.
