Users may want to uninstall the MapSpeller software, for example if:
- Their licenses have expired and they have decided not to
renew them.
- They want to install a newer version of the extension
Removing the MapSpeller software is done using the standard
Windows program removal procedure. The Windows Control Panel (Window's Start button > Settings > Control
Panel) contains either an "Add Or Remove Programs" icon (Windows XP)
or a "Programs and Features" icon (Windows Vista). Opening that icon
will bring a list of installed programs, including "MapSpeller for
ArcGIS" and an interface to remove those programs from the computer.
This will not remove the licensing and user preference files,
making it easy to install updates without having to re-register
the software or users. |
